How to send
a big email attachment file
Hi everyone im sure at some point you will need
to send that big email file attachment or you may have at some point tried to
do this and got the error attachment is to big to send error!
GMail, Hotmail and Yahoo mail allow email
attachments upto 10 MB in size. While this file attachment size limit is enough
for most web email users, it can be limiting when we have to share huge files
with our friends/clients like video clips, high resolution digital
photographs, large CAD drawings, multimedia presentations, uncompressed audio
files, etc.
So how do you transfer Really Big Files Over Email ?
So i thought I would share this as it will come
in handy at some point,
I was onsite today at one of the schools I
support and a teacher explained to me that when he logged in to his RGFL
(Rotherham Grid For Learning) email account and tried to send an attachment it
was saying the file was too big.
So I said ok let’s have a look at the file you
are trying to send and it was a PDF document I had converted for him the week
before, and yes it was a big file it was the school prospectus!.
So I said to him as I always do “Not to worry I
have the solution!” there are two websites I use when I need to send a large
email file and they work like a treat!
