Printing From Your iOS or Android Device Using Google Print





I get asked quite often by my customers how do i print from my iPad / iPhone or tablet device. Well have you heard of Google Cloud Print..? One of the issues of owning a portable device such as iphones / iPads & android devices like phones and tablets has always been the difficulty of printing stuff from it to your local printer. You may ask " So How do you print from your iPhone..?" "Can i print from my Android phone or tablet..? "The answer is yes you can" Google Print makes it very simple to do. The idea is that, you let Google discover the printers you have attached to your PC–whether its a network printer or USB printer and Google does the rest for you. No system drivers to worry about installing you Just select print from the mobile device, choose the printer and away you go!.

Getting Started With Google Print :-

Google Chrome must be installed on the PC that connects to your printer, and you need a Google account. If you don't have one Sign up for a Google account . You must be running Windows XP (with Service Pack 3) or higher Operating System like the horrible Vista or the awsome Windows 7 or 8.
Once set up open Google Chrome browser. Click the Google Menu icon googletools on the browser toolbar and click Settings. Next, click the Show Advanced Settings at the bottom of the page.

In the Google Print section, click Add Printers. It will ask you what type of printer you want to connect, a Cloud Ready printer or a Classic printer. Most will select the Classic printer option.
On the following screen, you will then need to click Add Printers again to associate any printers connected to your PC to youR Google account.

Google will then automatically find and also display all printers you have install on the PC you’re sitting at. On this screen you can click the Print button in the upper left corner, and then select additional Ways To Print. This link will take you to a screen that  will show what apps you can use on your Android or iOS device to print to Google Print.
Or you can simply use Print option from your mobile web browser.
For instance, open Gmail from your web browser (not the Gmail app), open up an email and choose Print from the drop down menu. The document will print out to your home printer–no matter where you are in the world.
If you don't want to print from your mobile browser, you can select apps that support Google Cloud Print from your Android or iOS device.
